I gotta give Al props for preaching what he believes in.  He&#8217;s doing all he can to get that message out.  I&#8217;m more convinced than before that he has a point.  That said, calling average people to change but then polluting more than they do and being unwilling to change yourself makes it harder to buy what you&#8217;re selling.<\/li>\n<li>Jeff (or is it Danny?  I can&#8217;t keep up.) at Nothing Important <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nothingimportantto.us\/pivot\/entry.php?id=1093\">takes on the issue<\/a> as well, comparing Al with W in terms of a &#8216;green home&#8217;.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/soupiset.typepad.com\/soupablog\/2007\/02\/lentenblog_joel.html\">Soup began Lent<\/a> with this scripture from Joel 2 that moved my heart at the time:<br \/>\n<blockquote><p>Yet even now, says the Lord,<br \/>\nreturn to me with all your heart,<br \/>\nwith fasting, with weeping, and with mourning;<br \/>\nrend your hearts and not your clothing.<br \/>\nReturn to the Lord, your God,<br \/>\nfor he is gracious and merciful,<br \/>\nslow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love,<br \/>\nand relents from punishing.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I needed to hear that.<\/li>\n<li>Wade Hodges and Greg Taylor share <a href=\"http:\/\/www.christianitytoday.com\/le\/2007\/001\/1.49.html\">in Christianity Today<\/a> about their work in transforming a one mega-church into a community focused church.  I can relate a little to their struggle to see their church envision a new way to be.<\/li>\n<li>Milton Stanley, in his new blog <a href=\"http:\/\/miltonsdailydose.blogspot.com\/\">Milton&#8217;s Daily Dose<\/a>, takes on 3 whoppers:  <a href=\"http:\/\/miltonsdailydose.blogspot.com\/2007\/03\/premillennialism-or-amillennialism.html\">Premillennialism or amillennialism<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/miltonsdailydose.blogspot.com\/2007\/03\/predestination-or-free-will.html\">Predestination or free will<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/miltonsdailydose.blogspot.com\/2007\/03\/faith-and-works.html\">faith and works<\/a>.  Best quote from these soundbite sized posts is from the premil-amil post:&#8221;<em>Who cares.
