And the result is the same. &#8220;As a dog returns to his vomit&#8230;&#8221;<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/cgi-bin\/bible?language=english&#038;version=NIV&#038;passage=gen+20%3A3-7\">20:3-7<\/a> &#8211; God intercedes again when man drops the ball.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/cgi-bin\/bible?language=english&#038;version=NIV&#038;passage=gen+20%3A6\">20:6<\/a> &#8211; There is no law yet, but it is accepted taht to take another man&#8217;s wife is sin.  Our conscience can be a guide of righteousness.<br \/>\n&#8211; I wonder, too, of Abimelech&#8217;s relationship with God.  There seems to be a familiarity here, but not like Abraham.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/cgi-bin\/bible?language=english&#038;version=NIV&#038;passage=gen+20%3A11\">20:11<\/a> &#8211; Abraham assumes that these strangers don&#8217;t fear God nad it get&#8217;s him in trouble.  Lesson there for us, don&#8217;t you think?<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/cgi-bin\/bible?language=english&#038;version=NIV&#038;passage=gen+20%3A13\">20:13<\/a> &#8211; Twisted logic, Abraham!<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/cgi-bin\/bible?language=english&#038;version=NIV&#038;passage=gen+20%3A17-18\">20:17-18<\/a> &#8211; Why did God wait for Abrahams&#8217; word?  Did he want to make sure Abraham felt good about it first?  Surely, Abimelech&#8217;s repentance seems clear.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/cgi-bin\/bible?language=english&#038;version=NIV&#038;passage=gen+21%3A27-30\">21:27-30<\/a> &#8211; It&#8217;s interestign that Abraham brings gifts, even though it was he who was wronged.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/cgi-bin\/bible?language=english&#038;version=NIV&#038;passage=gen+21%3A34\">21:34<\/a> &#8211; Abimelech is the leader of the Philistinmes?!?<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/cgi-bin\/bible?language=english&#038;version=NIV&#038;passage=gen+21%3A11-13\">21:11-13<\/a> &#8211; God even blesses the &#8216;iligitimate&#8217; son on accoutn of his love for Abraham.
