This was tonight.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Emily:<\/strong>  My friend said that Halloween is the Devil&#8217;s birthday.<br \/>\n<strong>Dad:<\/strong>  No, that&#8217;s not true.  There are witches and scary things, but it&#8217;s just a day to have fun.<br \/>\n<strong>Emily:<\/strong>  Was Satan an angel once?<br \/>\n<strong>Dad:<\/strong>  I&#8217;m not sure, but I think so.<br \/>\n<strong>Emily:<\/strong>  Did he used live in heaven?<br \/>\n<strong>Dad:<\/strong>  Yes, I think so.<br \/>\n<strong>Emily:<\/strong>  Do we become angels when we die and go heaven?<br \/>\n<strong>Dad:<\/strong>  No, honey, angels are different than people.<br \/>\n<strong>Emily:<\/strong>  Aww!  I wish I could be an angel!<br \/>\n<strong>Dad:<\/strong>  Did you know that The Bible says that the angels wish they could be like <em>us<\/em>?<br \/>\n<strong>Emily:<\/strong>  [Surprised and curious look]<br \/>\n<strong>Dad:<\/strong>  People can be adopted by God to become His sons or daughters.  Angels can&#8217;t.<br \/>\n<strong>Emily:<\/strong>  Like a princess!?!  Cool.<br \/>\n<strong>Dad:<\/strong>  Yep.<br \/>\n<strong>Emily:<\/strong>  So angels are like servants?<br \/>\n<strong>Dad:<\/strong>  I guess you could say that.  But we can be adopted into God&#8217;s family when we become Christians.<br \/>\n<strong>Emily:<\/strong>  Cool!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>It&#8217;s no wonder Jesus wanted to hang around the little ones.<br \/>\n(BTW &#8211; Emily came down and watched me type this and proof read it.
