Emily:<\/strong> My friend said that Halloween is the Devil’s birthday.
\nDad:<\/strong> No, that’s not true. There are witches and scary things, but it’s just a day to have fun.
\nEmily:<\/strong> Was Satan an angel once?
\nDad:<\/strong> I’m not sure, but I think so.
\nEmily:<\/strong> Did he used live in heaven?
\nDad:<\/strong> Yes, I think so.
\nEmily:<\/strong> Do we become angels when we die and go heaven?
\nDad:<\/strong> No, honey, angels are different than people.
\nEmily:<\/strong> Aww! I wish I could be an angel!
\nDad:<\/strong> Did you know that The Bible says that the angels wish they could be like us<\/em>?
\nEmily:<\/strong> [Surprised and curious look]
\nDad:<\/strong> People can be adopted by God to become His sons or daughters. Angels can’t.
\nEmily:<\/strong> Like a princess!?! Cool.
\nDad:<\/strong> Yep.
\nEmily:<\/strong> So angels are like servants?
\nDad:<\/strong> I guess you could say that. But we can be adopted into God’s family when we become Christians.
\nEmily:<\/strong> Cool!<\/p><\/blockquote>\nIt’s no wonder Jesus wanted to hang around the little ones.
