This morning as I’m laying in bed, trying to avoid starting my day (I love lazy Saturday mornings), I can hear Emily (7) and Audrey (5) ‘cleaning up’ in Audrey’s room.
\nAudrey says to Emily “Put it on your head, you’ll be an Indian!” Memories of cowboys and indians games are in my mind. I can hear the girls laughing in the other room, Emily saying “I’m an Indian! I’m an Indian!”
\nThen she comes into our room. I turn, expecting to see feathers, a headress or something like that. Instead, there’s a velcro dot stuck to her forehead.
